This morning - can you find the differences? Teal bolt in the foreground is the backing. |

I've been using EQ7 to track how many more sashing hexies I need to do (red is completed) and it's going to be very very very very very close to have enough black batik to do both outer borders and the binding. Keep those fingers crossed ladies. (If there are guys reading this I would love to know - speak up!)
As of this morning I have 500 black sashing/border hexies completed and need to do 262 more if I can do the second outer border row. I think there is just over 100 in the outer border if I can finish it. I don't relish picking out the ones I have done.
Just gorgeous. The colors are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh, Sarah--you are getting so close!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the black will be enough.
I love the hexy quilt. They are such fun to do. When I did mine, I also had black in mine. I got it all finished down to the last two hexies and did not have any black left. I substituted. No one knows unless I tell them.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is going to be great.
It's looking great Sarah !
ReplyDeleteAnd yes , I can see the differences
you are powering along....
Oh ya, I can see the differences, look at you go! Just amazing. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLook at you GO!!! I really *like* the teal ... makes it sing!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can't believe how fast you are making this! Thanks for sharing.
