My next mission...

...should I choose to accept it...and I will!!

Is to finish trimming the excess white from the right side and remove all the papers.

I hope to have it basted tonight or tomorrow which really depends on how long our board meeting lasts tonight.

I'm really excited about the quilting pattern I've decided on. I hope it looks as good as I am envisioning it :)

I've purchased a #71 flat fell foot for my Bernina after watching a video that make it look easier to machine sew binding. Keep your fingers crossed the video was realistic!

  1. Wow--this went together quickly--of course I may be basing that on the rate at which I paper piece!
Very interested to see what design you use for the quilting.
Oh, I wanted the post to go up in smoke when I finished reading. So disappointed. *LOL*

  3. I am impressed would never dare share he back of my blocks to anyone, interesting about your new foot, have not heard of that one, mind you my bernina is sick and needs a repair, waiting for "the man" but he cannot lift at the moment due to a hip op and I cannot take the machine to him as it is too heavy hopefully he will be able to do it soon
