Most people and municipalities didn't have the plows ready yet as we were still mowing and raking leaves through Thursday. That meant the plows, normally by my house at 7am, didn't make an appearance until nearly 10am.

Today is a whole 'nother story as we introduce purple to the family!!
I looked up last year's temp on this date and it was 46F compared to today's 28F. Is this still considered global warming? At least it's not raining!!
I haven't worked on any of my hexie projects in so long. You had a lot more snow than us.
ReplyDeleteSnow, Oh no! We are getting cooler (as in the 60's and 70's), It seems too early for snow. Your colros look great. This will be a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteI wondered how much snow you got since Warsaw was on the news with 9". We had just a dusting on Saturday and the grass was coated earlier in the week. I needed at least a week of real autumn temps to finish garden clean-up. Didn't happen. The moles will be happy since they'll have plenty of cover to make their tunnels.

Oh yes, it's global warming all right. It doesn't always have to do with the air temp, but air stream flow. We are getting snow today. I forget if it's lake effect or system. No matter, I'm staying in.
