HeLP for Hexie-aholics

Hello and welcome to another edition of HeLP for Hexie-aholics - home to any vintage/shape/size EPP project. I'm looking forward to seeing your projects!!!!

Hexie box at the Farmers'  Market for Quilt in Public Day

Today I do not have an update for any of my projects (I know - weird!!!) but a new gadget I bought myself. I got this stack of boxes at Dollar General for $7 or $8. They all snap together securely and the top box even has a divider to keep all the notions sorted. This is not an every day kind of box as far as I'm concerned, but for travelling to classes or vacation or hexie club it will be quite handy. I know, I'm easily amused :)

Ok - now lets see what projects all y'all are working on. Just remember to please link to a specific post and not your blog in general.

  1. My SIL got one of those and I am tempted. She uses hers to carry working parts back home and then back across the road for sewing with me. I think it would be good to put a lot of notions in so they are all together, yet seperate.

  3. I'm a plastic box collector as well, can't get enough of them. I linked up my La Passion. This is 1/7 of the whole quilt.

  4. what a good box, I have plastic ones as I can see what I want at a glance rather than in boxes or drawers. Would love to have enough to put all my fabrics in, at the moment just have them for scraps and projects I am or should be working on!

  5. I'm really digging your boxes!! I'll have to make a trip to DG (LOL -- it's practically a daily thing, out here in the sticks) and see what they have!! Hope you're having fun!! :)

  6. I've got a few boxes like this but mine don't snap together. I use mine to store leftover hexagons from completed projects. I have one box for each size of hexagon. One day there might be enough for a small quilt made entirely of scraps and leftovers!

  7. That's a very handy-looking box! I haven't seen one like that here in Oz.

  8. Love those boxes, Sarah! Sadly I was too late to link into this post. But I'm so excited to find someone else who is addicted to EPP, particularly hexies :-)
