Design Floor Monday

I finally had the center blocks ready to assemble Bonnie's Carolina Christmas mystery quilt this weekend so I spread them out on the living room floor Saturday to play with the arrangement. My CC is red, white, blue and gold so I'm calling it "Carolina Christmas in July" and you'll see that I decided to do my own arrangement.

I didn't have all the blocks sewn together so I left them on the floor overnight...you know where this is going, right??!!

I interrogated the usual suspects Sunday morning but no one was talking...

Oh well, time to work on the pieced borders...

WyCo Clerk's Association Party

Last night was the quarterly Clerk's Association Christmas party at my house. The association bought pizza & wings and everyone brought appetizers and desserts - I think we could have fed twice as many people. Before James Tammaro, State Archives, spoke about the next round of Local Goverment Efficiency Grants and minutes indexing, Santa joined us to distribute gifts in a relatively low key game of "Dirty Santa". I think fun was had by all and I know I had fun sharing my "new" house with everyone - Merry Christmas Girls!!!!
