I finally finished quilting and binding my basket quilt! Woohoo!
This is Matilda, my doll from the early 1970's in my mother's toy high chair from the 40s or 50s. Any one have ideas on how to clear up "cataracts" and nappy hair? Nothing I have tried has worked really well.
I've enjoyed making these 4" blocks so much they are my current leader ender project. I have about 25 blocks made of the basket on the lower left and pieces already cut for a dozen more. I am debating on making some of the other blocks to mix in or just sticking with all the same block.
Don't forget next week is HeLP for Hexie-a-holics. Get your hexie projects out and let us know what you are working on next Wednesday, 10/17/12.

Love your baskets - yes, they are fun patterns and if you keep working them as leader/enders, you will have a quilt in no time.
I don't think I've ever met a basket quilt that I didn't like, and yours does not disappoint! I see they are also kitty-approved!
The basket quilt turned out so cute, Sarah. I think it would look good to have a random different basket sprinkled here and there in a big quilt. Fun idea!
Of the 4 little basket tops I made, not one is yet quilted. : )
Lovely quilt!
And your doll thinks so too , by the look on her face.
Your baskets look fabulous!!! Matilda looks very appreciative! I like her little chair, too -- what a treasure!! I need to get busy so I have something to share on the 17th, huh?!? I brought my little hexie templates (thank you so much) and I think I may start whipping up some small ones while I'm at the rehab center with my mom! :)
Those are darling baskets! So sweet in the doll quilt. I have no remedies for doll repair--but have some victims that need that kind of help!
