Heat Wave on Easy Street

Why yes…I did walk to the post office this morning without a coat. I know it’s December and all but we have broken a 20+ year record with a current high of 67F.

But don’t worry, while we normally say if you don’t like the weather in Western NY to wait 5 minutes, if you can actually wait until tomorrow it will be cold and snowing again - they promised us!

Just another 15 minutes of stitching and I'll have the foursies together. Pressing and pinwheeling seams might take just a couple more minutes...

Do you know how hard it is to take an interesting picture of black on white and gray fabrics on a white table next to a white Bernina? Impossible!!

Looking good! I went out on errands just wearing a sweatshirt as a jacket. Lovely, and now I have spring fever.

Looking great so far. We had to re-open all the windows in the house it was starting to get too hot in here again. It feels more like spring than it does wintertime. I wish it would snow in Florida!

We have been so warm, too, but we are supposed to get rain, with some snow possible, for a couple of days.
Well, your photo could be a snow storm on easy street, and the gray is just the dirty snow along the road. : )

We are having gorgeous weather in Nebraska too!! Love walking around without a coat. Your four patches look great. Hope your weather holds out a little longer---I will go for a tropical Christmas if provided!!

LOL...about the weather.
You have been busy too and those pinwheel seams do take time....
And yes it's true the picture is a little........grey.
But with all the other colours in the quilt it won't be when it's finished.

I just think of all the work that pile of fabric around the Bernina represents.

Great job on Easy Street and we've been having some unusually nice weather for December too! What a beautiful pillow, love the colors you used and buttoned up back! Thanks for sharing.
