Just how many calories does a person burn shoveling heavy, wet snow for an hour??! I certainly worked up a good sweat this morning and Zorro was my little mascot, jumping thru the snow drifts instead of on the shoveled driveway. Dork :)

View of my sloppy shoveling. The panoramic feature does some weird things when you you pan 180 degrees. I'm standing on the road but the perspective is way off. Guess I shouldn't pan 180 degrees any more... |

Hard work there shoveling wet, sloppy snow! I figure it must burn a-gazillion calories--certainly enough for a nice dark choc bar (LOL) ! Hugs, Julierose
Yes, the shovels are out (and we have the plow and snowblower primed for anything heavier). Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
Pumpkin pie, here you come! You shoveled a ton - you go girl! That snow really is pretty to look at, but I'm glad it didn't get us.
Funny how those who know snow, see the work needed to deal with it. To someone like me who has never experienced it, it just looks beautiful!
Ooo, so glad it's you and not me!! I HATE snow and cold weather (yes, snow is pretty but I don't like to be in it or have to deal with it! LOL).
Backbreaking stuff, Sarah. You have earned your Thanksgiving dinner!! : )
The early morning shots are so pretty, if you get to stay indoors. DH leaves for work so early in the morning that by the time I leave the house on a snowy day I have to shovel all over again.
Cats are so funny when it comes to snow! I can't wait for our first snowfall here!
I found myself shivering as I looked at these snowy pics, you have had a heavy fall, so far here in the UK the weather has remained quite mild, touch wood it continues.
I love your house and the setting!
