Feline Friday - 8/7/20

Momma posted my first picture earlier this week to her new Instagram account (@sarahdidit17).

She really likes how easy it is to post on IG from her phone since we don't have internet at home. She's afraid, tho, that if she switched completely from Blogger to IG that she would lose her my followers, among other issues. She definitely wouldn't miss all the weird foreign accounts now posting on her blog but that isn't necessarily a reason to switch as trolls are everywhere.

Any thoughts? Are you on IG? Would you miss us on Blogger? Who even reads blogs anymore? Would you want the same or different posts on Blogger versus IG or as long as you know where to find Momma me you'll follow along any where?

I always read your blog. I find Instagram confusing, random and sound byte Iike.

I adore Instagram and use it daily, but I think Linda is correct. It's more of a sound byte, whereas blogger has more depth. I know some bloggers who did go exclusively to IG, but there really isn't the same connection. I will keep both, myself, and I would *definitely* miss you...and Z...if you went to IG exclusively! :)

I vote for keeping both!

I still read blogs every day. I like IG but it's not the same.

I definitely still read blogs. They serve a different purpose. But I don't blog and finally set up an Instagram account so I could post pictures of my projects and flowers. Not that I'm a daily poster. IG can become a time sink though, but then, so are the blogs. In the end, you have to do whatever works for you given your internet access issues and the time available. And Z will be handsome, no matter where he shows up.

I don't have the technology for Instagram, so I really appreciate those who are still blogging! And what would I do w/o my Friday Feline fix!!

I love reading blogs - yours is one of the best! I believe I could use Instagram, but I have chosen not to even try. If most of the blogs I read were to switch to Instagram, I suppose I may try it, but I definitely prefer blogs! I hope you continue to blog, but sometimes we must go with change! Thank you for all of your work!

I don't do IG and FB is just for the business - they are sink holes and phishers.

I have both instagram and blog. I love reading blogs and miss the many people who no longer write on their blogs or have switched to another medium.

I have an IG account, but still love the blogging world. I've started following you there, although my account is not in my own name so you may not immediately recognise me.

I would miss the blog, but I would still follow on IG. You need to do what’s best for your piece of mind if you are having problems with the blog.

I don't do IG and really enjoy reading your blog, and Feline Friday is a highlight! Please keep the blog for those of us who don't want to add yet another social media platform to our list of social media accounts!

Blogger is for more detail which is what we all like. IG is about sound bites. Please stay on blogger as we would miss you.The odd comments are annoying but you can set the comments so you moderate them before they appear on the blog. Also the comment tab on blogger lets you see the most recently posted comments and you can delete any unwelcome ones and report them to blogger.

I prefer blogs, but I use IG as well and wouldn't mind some more Z pictures over there :)
