Yesterday I slept in a wee bit thanks to the time change and then got busy making zipper bags and mugrugs for the next holiday bazaar.
The prep always takes the longest - cutting batting pieces, letting cats outside, cutting fabric pieces, letting cats back inside, matching fabrics to zippers, letting cats outside, matching fabric to trims, letting cats inside again, answering rescue calls and eventually one gets to the sewing part! Phew!
I've got 4 almost finished...the rest should move right along since all the decisions have been made already.

And, just because everyone at my office loves it, I thought I would share my Christmas Cactus. I know it's the beginning of November but this little beauty likes to blossom 3 times a year. I don't do anything special to accomplish this - in fact, I think it's merely because it's by the front door and the blast of cold air every time a customer comes in "forces" it to blossom at Halloween, Christmas and sometime in the spring.

Ha, know those interruptions while trying to make some progress in prep and/or sewing. I have a Christmas cactus (white) that blooms 3-4 times a year , too - and I don't fuss with it either.
Well, I guess you can be glad that at least you got an hour to walk around. I haven't been to the Falls since I was 14!
You keep so busy, I don't know how you get so much done!
Your cactus looks great. I hope mine blooms this year!
Your check is going in the mail tomorrow!!
will wnjoy your photos of the falls when you share them. Lots ging on with your mug rugs and bags, a conveyor belt, good to cut them out all at once and get it over and done with. No signs of flowers on my cactus yet, it stays in the spare bedroom all year till it flowers then comes down stairs but it is far too big as have had it years.
Love your photos ♥
Cats and rescue calls . . . the interruptions that make life interesting. LOL! And cause you to stitch right side to wrong side on occasion! Hahaha!! Your "Holiday" Cactus is gorgeous! The two we have at work show no signs of anything right now. But usually sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas they both do their thing! :)
Wow, you got a bunch of prepping done. I totally understand about doing cat duties in the middle of sewing things. Love your Christmas cactus.
I love your cactus, so pretty. When we lived in PA we were about 45 minutes from Niagara Falls. Of course, that was before you needed a passport to get to the Canadian side. I loved it.
