The purple shows a little darker than in real life since the photographer created a shadow :-) |
Depending on the votes (and if I agree with them! Bwahahahaha), I hope to at least get the center finished for Hexie Linky Party on Saturday, when I will also explain the "sudden" rush to finish hexie UFOs.
And, yes, borders are going to be a little dicey since I have to work around the holes where I fussy cut for the center of the star :-)

The purple. I'm so intrigued on how you are going to handle the border situation.
I love the turquoise but the purple goes better with the border fabric! So my vote is for Purple.
I vote for the turquois, too. Its a nicer compliment to the orange.
Hugs
I think the purple looks better with the border, unless you are pulling turquoise into the picture somehow that I don't know about. But I think the turquoise makes the star stand out better. Aren't I helpful? : )
I like the purple, too--it picks up that purple in the orange leaf fabric so nicely I think...hugs, Julierose
Well, I like the turquoise. better with your star - it brings a cooler, calmer element and the purple better with the border.
Definitely the purple--much more exciting. Of course, you should do what you prefer since it's your quit! Lookin good though!
Although the purple plays nicely with your border , I think the block gets lost with it. So I prefer the turquoise to pop the star.
TURQUOISE!!! (If I say it in all caps, it counts twice, right?!?) If you must, use the purple to bind it. But the turquoise really sets off the block so nicely and goes better with brown! And you know me ... I'm a purple person. So if *I'm* voting against it, it must be the right decision. ROFL!! :)
If I have to choose one, I would say turquiose, but could you use both and alternate the blocks?
