We interrupt our normally scheduled post...

...to share this late breaking weather report!!!!

They were actually gorgeous quarter or half-dollar sized flakes at one point but it was all mostly gone by the time I had to drive to work. That's a good thing cuz most people have forgotten how to drive in snow since last spring. And yet, when I got to work, all of 6 miles away, they hadn't gotten a single flake of snow...go figure.

You'll get the kids' take on the snow tomorrow and Gettysburg #3 will be posted next week!

It is still in the 60's/70's here in TX. I'm enjoying keeping my windows open!

We had snow all around us, but not here in the valley - but they are saying this weekend.

Thankfully, all of our snow so far has been in the mountains!
Isn't it crazy how quickly people forget how to drive in the snow, even though they deal with it year after year?

no sign of snow or cold weather yet here but they say we are in for a bad winter here in the UK a pay back for the best summer in years, so far no snow and still mild but no doubt it will come and there is nothing we can do but get on with it!!

We had some sleet in some areas in the Cincinnati area last night and our first temp below freezing.
