Feline Friday - 2/2/18

Happy Groundhog Day!!

Can you believe all the credit they give that silly woodchuck?

First they sing crazy loud songs. Then they pull him out of his tree stump and "confer" in groundhog-eze regarding his decision. He's probably quaking in his boots and nervous as all get out.

Except ... did you see the stadium lighting? Of course that guy is gonna see his shadow! And then the ticker on the video says that he's only right 37% of the time. Geesh.

On the other paw, Auntie Denise has a local celebrity called Sand Mountain Sam. That opossum has been spot on for the last 23 years! Go Sam!!!

No matter what, I was smart enough to stay inside today when it's only 11F outside and I can't see no stinking shadows!! I am the Caballero de Castilla, I am Zorro and I predict Spring!!!!!

Do you have a local weather predicting celebrity? Is he accurate?

What does a rodent know? Cats are much smarter. Stay inside my friend. At least it's warm inside.

Not sure about your weather forecasting abilities but I will give you credit for having the good sense to stay inside where it is warm and safe instead of going outside in 11 degree freezing cold temps. (You make a pretty picture looking out that window)

I like the way you (don't) see things, Caballero de Castilla! :)

It was an overcast, cold, snowy, windy day here with no shadows - and my furkids forcasted a day of napping in the quest bedroom. Doesn't really matter as there are 6 weeks until the first day of spring, it just matters how nice or nasty Father Winter and Mother Nature want to play.

The old timers around here would predict something about the winter based on woolly caterpillars--somehow.
I'd say you and the rodent are much smarter than those guys wearing those silly hats!
